The 2nd International Workshop on Public Space approach was to generate, from a joint vision and a discussion between all the participants, the guidelines and configurations of public space in the coming decades. Thus, the Workshop was a mechanism to establish a knowledge exchange about public space from a perspective of shared learning, in order to define what is vital inside public space, which is the priority that must be include in the urban agenda and how we could work inside a global network.
Finally, the approach was to analyze the parameters and to condense the technical dissertations as the main tools to develop a public space joint vision, taking into account topics like quality, security,technology, vitality and sustainability.
